Activity Agenda

Discipline:

Utmost importance is given to students’ conduct and discipline in the college. Various administrative mechanisms have been introduced for monitoring and controlling late-coming, early-going and displaying fortnightly attendance. Identifying RED category of students for shortage of attendance and advising parents and students in time are part of this process.

Feedback System:

A regular student feedback at the beginning and end of the semester is conducted to ensure that the college meets student requirements. Students’ grievances, if any, are regularly examined and suitable remedial actions are taken in time.

Method of Evaluation:

Students are evaluated by conducting a unit test at the end of completion each unit. The students are also evaluated on the basis of descriptive test. A report is sent to parents or guardians regularly on their wards’ progress.

Special Classes & Guest Lectures:

Special classes and tutorials are conducted even during holidays for the benefit of students. Tutorial classes are included in regular timetable to make learning more effective.

SRR conduct seminars to enable students to come out with innovative ideas, give vent to their creativity and improve their powers of expression. In March, 2008 SRR conducted a National level Seminar “TECHNO SPRUCE” which was a resounding success with about 90 innovative projects presented by 250 students from different colleges all over India. Special communication courses are planned for the third year and fourth year students in order to help them improve their skills. Special blue books for assignments have also been introduced to evaluate and monitor the progress of students in their respective subjects. In order to benefit the students and help them to, have a better grasp of subjects, SRR also has senior guest faculty members in addition to regular faculty, who bring with them rich experience and vast knowledge in their areas of specialization. At present, we are proud to have 4 such eminent personalities on our rolls.
