Communication Skills Lab
The English Department is enriched with a fully furnished PC based communication skills lab. This lab helps to improve the student's ability to speak fluently in English. It supports efficiently the Engineering Departments by providing quality training in communication skills. It also enhances the students mental ability and soft skills, which helps them to have a better exposure to the practical world.
The Department offers one course in English to the first year students of all branches and for Training and Placement cell. The staff in the department is highly qualified and experienced. Keeping in view the importance of English Language for the students who intend to go abroad for higher studies and for placements in multi-national organisations the faculty are thriving for the improvement of communication skills, soft skills, personality development etc; Students are mastered in the proficiency of English language by the dedicated staff of the department. The role played by the department in preparing students for the interviews, to participate in-group discussions and in preparation of project reports is exemplary. The students are also guided for better performance at GRE and TOEFL tests and contributing their expertise to training and placement cell.
English language laboratory was recognised as an essential resource for students in the new millennium. In order to equip the students with the necessary communication skills to take on the highly competitive world around them, a language lab is an invaluable facility as it provides them with ample opportunity to bridge the gaps in their learning process and hone their talents.
