Since the inception of the course B.Tech (Mech.) in the year 2004 , the department of Mechanical Engineering has been contributing its humble share of the Mechanical Engineering graduates for national needs. Several of the graduates who have passed out of this department are occupying responsible positions in various Engineering Industries., and holding responsible positions in the premier educational institutes in India.

MISSION

Our mission is to produce graduates with a good general education, a broad knowledge of mechanical engineering, and a special understanding of one of its sub-field. Thus prepared, our graduates can meet and, perhaps, master the changing technological challenges of the 21st Century. This goal is accomplished by having forward looking mechanical engineering curricula, by placing emphasis on new technologies especially those that could impact on teaching and research, and by conducting applied and basic research to push the frontier of knowledge ahead in order to serve Andhra Pradesh and its surrounding region.
